For auction is my CNC converted Harbor Freight Mini Mill, a Seig X2 model.
This is a used mill and there are a few cosmetic issues that do not affect the operation sold as is

The mill spindle has a very nice belt drive that makes the mill run very quietly. There are 2 steps on the pullies and the variable speed motor gives a top spindle speed of about 4000 RPM. 0-1650rpm on first step, 0 to 3950rpm on 2nd step
The mill can be used both manually, or CNC. So if you just want to do a quick mill job, you don't need to fire up the cnc controller. For the most part I leave the hand wheels off.
I have used the mill to cut aluminum, brass, plastic, steel, cast iron, bronze, and wood. The mill work very well and has been a great time saver in my hobbies cutting out live steam locomotive parts.
The mill is set up for 30 ipm rapids on the x and y axis, and 90 ipm on the Z axis. Mostly I use Mach 3 mill, but have used Mach 3 turn to do single point threading and profile turning. I even used the mill to cut model train wheel tread profiles.

Shipping information
For picking up at my home: I will bolt to pallet and strap down controller unit and assist with loading into your vehicle. I will also will show you how the mill works currently using my system to demonstrate.
Boxed pallet is about 31"wide, 31"deep, and 37" high. Weight of mill, controller, and crate about 220LBS.
For Shipping the unit: I will bolt the mill to a pallet, strap down the controller and enclose the pallet on all sides. I will send you a picture of how the mill looks inside the crate before it leaves my house, and also pictures of top and sides of outside of pallet box to show condition as it leaves home. I can drop off at the HSF Holland truck terminal in Roseville, MN for an additional $50.00.
