Hi there and thank you for dropping by to have a look at my sale.
Here I have my Meade DSI Colour One Shot in as new condition with loads of expensive extras to get you going.
Reason for the sale, it does not get used that often and I need to fund an upgrade, so nothing sinister, just the sale of an DSI, in as new condition with the following items, some standard, some optional extras:-
PC Serial COM cables, one for Meade ETX series telescope and the other for the LX200 Series.
USB cable that came with the camera which does not give you much length so I bought a Belkin USB Extension lead which works a treat as I think it is armoured as no signal degridation by the time the signal reaches the PC.
I am also including my Meade f3.3 focal reducer which reduces the focal length of your telescope to make a wider Field of View and flattens view as well.
Even though the DSI is self cooling, I purchased the Meade DSI fan to assist even more and reduce the noise carried from the CCD sensor to the screen... i.e. reduce the graininess seen from nearly all CCD sensors when dealing with cold nights.
Obviously, the original software will be included along with a special instructional DVD commissioned by Meade on the use of the DSI. Hopefully, by the end of the auction, I will have burned the new update for Autostar Suit and Envisage, so that the winning bidder does not have to worry about these small matters.
You will also gain a wad full of original instructions on the use of the hardware and software along with extras from 3rd party websites, from users that know the DSI intmatetly. They are hard copies and have all been laminated for those cold, dew full nights.
The only item that I seem to have missplaced (or the little one has got hold of it) is the parfocal ring but this can be purchased from SVO for £5.00, inc P&P.
All in all, you will be purchasing an excellent set up and everything is there (bar the ring) to get you going, imaging your own Astrophotography at a reasonable price.
The focal reducer alone cost me £65 and the fan £40, so these alone add up to the starting price so I think it is a very reasonable start and you will be gaining a cracking set up along the way.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me where I will try my best to answer them for you.
This is an international sale so by all means, feel free to bid but all I ask is that you have at least a minimum 10 feedbacks as I have had a couple of sales a while back where people have won with nil or less feedbacks and did not pay. I apologise for those genuine Ebayers but I am sure you understand and if you do find yourself in this situation, please email me to inform me of your intentions and reassure me that if successful, you will see the sale through.
I prefer Paypal payments, UK sales, please email me to ask if I accept any other form of payments.
Finally, again, thank you once again for stopping by and of you decide to take part, all the best.
