This offering is for a Cover Sheet from Vienna, Austria sent to Rowensko, Bohemia, paid with a single example of Scott Catalogue #1d (Netto #1M), tied April 3, 1858. This is a Cover Sheet only and there is no printed or written content. It has been expertized and includes a Sismondo Certificate dated November 5, 2008. The Certificate reads, in part: "(1) The letter sheet, postage stamp affixed, and postal markings indicated above are genuine in all respects. (2) The cover is in an excellent state of preservation. (3) The postage stamp affixed is in perfect condition, with large margins all around. (4) the payment of one kreuzer represents the postage rate for a single weight item of printed matter (under 1 Loth which is about 17gr.), sent anywhere within the Austro-Hungarian Empire; a rate which was in effect from June 1st of 1850 to November 1st of 1858. I have signed the letter sheet in order to attest to its authenticity." This will be mailed to the successful bidder by Certified Mail within the United States, or by Registered Air Mail outside the United States, without added cost to the bidder.
