A Florian Ware biscuit barrel - although the holes in the lid lead me to believe that it might have another purpose - by Macintyre/Moorcroft from around 1900.5" high to the top of the base, the piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs, although one of the dirty craze lines on the interior ledge designed for the lid may indeed be a very small hairline.(I am not convinced that it is, but I would prefer you knew about the possibility beofre you bid). The underside is stained as can be seen from the photos which also show the signature mark.. What crazing that exists is not really significant.
