For Sale is a custom made 20 ton log splitter with a hydraulic lift.
Engine is a new Briggs & Stratton 6.5 h.p. and new Hadlex 11 GPM pump. Cylinder for ram is used but is in very good condition. I put in new seals and o-rings, and bore of cylinder was very good. Cylinder for lift is new. Spool valve was used but very little and is still in good condition. CAT yelow paint.
This splitter is designed to be user friendly and efficient. I have raised 24" dia. logs with this style splitter with no problems.
Main beam is 8" x 8" and back-up plate is 1 1/2" thick. Base plate for wedge is 1/2 plate and is secured with 8 - 3/4" bolts. Tires are 15" dia. on Ford 5-lug rims. Hubs are Ford and bearings are cleaned and repacked. Fenders are 12 gauge, heavy enough to sit on. Hitch is 2" ball.
I have welded for 25 years and take pride in what I make. This is a strong splitter that will last!!
