You are bidding on a fully operable German-made “1958 Borgward Isabella TS/2Dr Coupe”. They only manufactured this beautiful Sports Car from 1955 through 1961. She has a White Exterior and Red Interior and has 36,066 miles on her 4 Cylinder engine, with a 4 speed manual transmission on the column. The front seat looks bench, but is bucket style. There is a shelf area behind the front seat to resemble a backseat bench. The trunk is huge and the front-seat leg space is massive. She has a slight minor rust issue in places, but nothing drastic for her age of 50 years old. As with many older vehicles, locating glass to replace windows is a hassle, but ALL her glass is free of chips or cracks, and in perfect condition. Note: all Borgward windows are manufactured with a slight curve to them, no window is flat. This makes for more aero-dynamics when driving. She does need new brakes and a water pump. These items can be easily located in the market. According to the NADA guide pricing as of 11/13/08, the low book for her is $14,100, average book is $23,300, and high book is $34,100.
